The Friend Theory Flutter app enables you to find a friend who can help you anywhere around the world. We do this by connecting you to your existing friends, friends of friends and community members so you get help in your own city or whilst you are traveling!
WITH FRIEND THEORY YOU CAN:
- PING your network of friends so you can find anything you need, from meeting up with a local fam member, to receiving local tips from a friend or find accommodation through a friends’ friend
-HELP your network of friends so you can receive help in the future
- DISCOVER where your friends, friends of friends and members from the yes fam are in the world in a fun and interactive map.
- CONNECT directly with anyone from your network through a chat.
The app is built 100% on flutter, so let us know what you think! And don't forget, invite your friends because the more friends you have on the platform the more places you'll be able to visit!
WHO ARE WE AND WHY ARE WE BUILDING FRIEND THEORY?
We are a group of friends who are on a mission to build the world's first “help-engine”.
We want to enable anyone to find a like minded friend who can help you anywhere in the world.
We believe that social networks are broken, and they’ve been designed to make you consume content instead of focusing on the important aspect of a social network, which is building meaningful relationships in which you can extract value from.
With Friend Theory, we want to enable allow people to build deep and meaningful relationships, which will ultimately allow people to build more Social Capital.
We started from a storage room at a University in Australia and with the help of so many people that believe in the idea we are really excited to finally launch the first version of our app!
We have a lot of exciting things coming up in the future so stay tuned for updates!
