About कर्मकाण्ड: Puja Vidhi BETA

Perform a puja the way the book sets it out — one step at a time, with the mantra to recite, what to do while you recite it, and what it means.

कर्मकाण्ड brings close to a hundred vidhis into your pocket: daily rites, festival pujas, vratas, the sixteen samskaras, homa, dana and shraddha. Each one opens on its stages or days, and the reader walks you through every step in order, so you always know where you are and what comes next.

Puja, step by step
• Daily rites: pratah kritya, snana, sandhya, tarpana and devapuja
• Festivals and vratas: Durga Puja for all ten days of Navaratri, Lakshmi Puja for Tihar, Bhai Tika, Satyanarayan, Haritalika, Rishi Panchami, Janmashtami, Shivaratri and many more
• Samskaras from namakarana and annaprashana to upanayana and vivaha
• Shraddha and the rites after death, from dashagatra to sapindikarana
• Shared rites such as achamana, kalasha puja, punyahavachana and arati are written once and linked wherever a vidhi uses them

Your sankalpa, written out for you
Enter your name, thar, gotra and place once. Every sankalpa in the app is then filled in for you instead of showing “amuka”. Not sure of your gotra? Look up your thar in the built-in thar–gotra–pravara list.

Mantras and stotras to recite
Ninety collections read straight through: Rudri (with optional Vedic accent marks), Purusha Sukta, Shri Sukta, Durga Saptashati, Bhagavad Gita, Vishnu Sahasranama, Shiva Mahimna, Aditya Hridaya, Hanuman stotras and more.

Tools for the day of the puja
• Samagri list for each puja, or for one day of it, to tick off and share
• Japa mala counter, and an ahuti counter inside homa steps
• Ashaucha calculator: when sutak and jutho end, by relation and date
• Share any vidhi, or one day of it, as a printable PDF

Made for reading
• Nepali or English interface, with instructions and meanings in either language
• Larger text, light and dark themes, keep-screen-on while reading
• Auto-scroll, and a whole-page view for reading a full day at once
• Search every vidhi, step and mantra in Devanagari or in roman letters
• Picks up where you left off; pin your favourites

Private and offline
Everything works without an internet connection. No account, no ads, no tracking — your sankalpa details and reading progress stay on your phone.
